Apart from being interested in architecture and landscape, I’m fascinated by engineering, and more specifically, post WW2, pre digital cars and bikes.
Luckily, I live within an hour of the Goodwood Estate, a location where I can regularly marvel at the engineering and styling genius of the 1940s - 1980s.
Last week was the annual Goodwood Members’ Meeting - and like my earlier trip to Porto - I decided not to take my digital camera, but just pack my 6x6 Yashica LM and a roll of Kodak Portra 160.
A perfect spring day with sun, blossom and the smell of internal combustion.

The one concession to modernity I allowed to grace my film was the new Alpine A290. Electric, graceful and French.

I’ve always wanted to go to it but have never managed it. Looks awesome and beautiful shots.
